Peaks and cliffs forming the northern wall of the broad valley formed by the San Rafael River over millions of years, as  viewed from the dirt road going to Mexican Mountain in the Mexican Mountain Wilderness Study Area on the San Rafael Swell in Utah.  The tall vertical cliffs are WIngate Sandstone, while the lower yellowish layer is the Black Dragon Member of the Moenkopi Sandstone.
