JGF-Jerusalem-Mt Zion-IL-7114.jpg
This ancient stairway by the Church of Saint Peter in Gallicantu leads from the upper city of Jerusalem down to the lower city and the Valley of Kidron. It is thought that Jesus would have taken these stairs in his walk from the room of the Last Supper to Gethsemane, and would have been brought back up these stairs to his trial by the Sanhedrin after his arrest that same night.
